Use DoC from WebSurfer pro in WebPlayer?
Use DoC from WebSurfer pro in WebPlayer?

I have both a WebPlayer and a WebSurfer. The DoC in the WebPlayer looks to be the same as the one in the WebSurfer (from an online photo, that is.)

I had no problem getting a HD to run in my WebSurfer and putting DOS on the DoC. If I take them both apart and find out the chip is exactly the same, maybe I'll pop the WebSurfer one in the WebPlayer and see what happens.

I probably won't get to this for a while.

Great! Keep us posted.

Frankly, I would be happy if someone would figure out how to make the stock dialer and web browser work with my own ISP. For a free access device, it's really not too shabby. Plus, I love the fun of the hack... :)
