Reprogram DOC in place?

Want to reprogram my DOC since using my IPS through the original configuration takes FOREVER. My question - can I reprogram the chip without opening the case by:

1. putting the files on i-hacked' page on a cd (USB)
2. going into the WP's bios so I could boot from the usb/cd drive

If so, do I need to "sys" the cd so it will boot and what would the command string be to load the OS and other files to the DOC?

Thanx

I have flashed the DOC on a few webplayers from a usb zipdrive. Just turn on legacy usb support and boot off removable devices in the bios. Make sure the cd you are booting from has boot files. The best way to do this is to format a floppy disk and select “copy system files only” or “create a MS dos start up disk,” depending on what OS you are running. Copy the four files from your floppy to your cd along with the image and flashing program and you should be good to go.
