HDD Size

Is there a limitation on the size of the harddrive that can be used on the webplayer? I've read through the posts and noticed the largest hda used was either a 10 or 12GB- has anybody else tried a larger drive like an IBM 20GB or so...or is there a cap on the size that the bios can see?
Im awaiting the ribbon cable at the moment, but if somebody knows if there is a cap, I dont want to waste my time trying to gain the physical space by trying and trying till Im blue in the face. Any help would be cool.

Judging from the fact that it is a standard BIOS, the limitation should be 32G. I personally have never tried to push it that far, but u should be fine up to 32G.

I've used a 20GB IBM Travelstar with no problems.

Can someone please clarify the maximum physical size for the HDD? I've seen both 11mm and 17mm mentioned.

I would try to get the 9mm drives. More space the better. I have 2 webplyers up and runing with 9mm drives. There is not much clearance under the mother board. 17mm is to big to fit flat. make sure you insolate the drive so it won't short out the motherboard or the drive.
