I just did a search for "webplayer" on ubid, and it found no results! Oh no! Does this mean I am going to have to start spending $60 a peice on ebay for a webplayer?
Few! I was scared there for a minute...guess I have never checked them that early before. I guess thats what happens when you decide to take the day off...
It could be true. The last 2 I got boxes where more abused. The devices work great just re-taped boxes. I am glad I got mine while they where $35+shipping (did not learn about the diffrent shippring prices till the last 2).
Maybe they guy at Boundless is out sick or on vacation! :) maybe they will be back onm ubid! :) we can only hope :). Does anyone know how many webpalers where made?
I think I remember reading somewhere that they made 10,000 of them, but I don't know for sure. I just got 2 more today, and they do look quite a bit more beat up. I guess this could be good for me...I am considering selling my webplayers (5) and getting a new laptop...I bet the will go for more on ebay now
yea i'm looking to unload some myself so i can pay for *essentials* (i.e. wireless gear) so hopefully boundless is out.
I remember seeing "54/211" or something (I don't have the boxes here...) on the boxes of my 5 wps from boundless. the numerators were sequential and i think the denominator was 200 something for all of them. Judging from when i bought my wps, the rate of sales at ubid, and the fact that the auctions have seemingly ceased, i'm thinking ~200 is all boundless wanted to sell for this lot. but then again the markings could just be an internal UPS sorting system marking.- ak
Got a hold of the company that was selling the webplayer on UBID and they are sold out. Ebay is going to be it. Glad I picked up 4 of them while they were cheap!
