I have 6 webplayers and so far have only one that will allow me to even surf the web with the 3c460b card. I have the same problems as most... I can connect for 5 minutes at most and then the connection drops for no reason.
And, of course, the one webplayer that works with this card... i fried the video card by accident :(

I've been using one on my Webplayer for several months and have had good luck. That said I have to add that it doesn't work well for streaming audio and would cut out after 10 to 20 minutes. This is not a big issue with me but if that's what you had in mind than I'd avoid it. My Webplayer is running Win98 lite via the doc and the the nic is attached with the USB cable that came with it. I did my streaming test using Winamp and Shoutcast. Good luck!

I just did the hack today on two units. Both are running the exact same hard drives along with WIN98SE. One machine runs the 3C460B beautifully while the other only works for a few minutes and will choke. A reboot will sometimes fix it, but only for a few minutes again.
Again, both machines have been hacked with the EXACT same hardware. What is making one work, but not the other? I did try changing the power supplies between the two units, but the same problem arrised.
