Fan install idea
Where to install a processor fan in the WebPlayer

I recieved my TennMax fan and installed it in my WebPlayer without a problem. I used the connector currently attached to the fan and plugged it into the leftmost pins of the serial port. It works without a problem but like many, I want the fan to turn off when the WebPlayer goes into standby mode. I was wondering that if the hard drive is running off of +5 volt current (as described by jaykim and his pics for the hard drive LED) if the fan could be connected to this +5 volt pin. Now jaykim's instructions were for a LED but if one of the pins is +5 volt while the drive is not in standby which turns off in standby and another is a ground, this should work. Granted that I need to test this theory, but does this sound feasable?
