Will the modem work in other countries?

Hi,
Ive just bought two webplayers, and am heving them sent to england.

Will the modem wor ok? Can it be reflashed with the appropriate firmware to detect british ring/busy tones?

My two cents:

I'm in Spain and own a WebPlayer. It is a "free" version (that is, not tied to Virgin ISP), and works right out of the box with a local ISP provider (and, of course local phone line, tones, etc...).

You could probably set it to continue dialing even if it doesnt detect dial tone....
