Windows XP "slim" for Virgin Webplayer?
How to "slim" Windows XP guide?

Hi.

I have Windows XP professional and want to know what is the best way to "slim" it down for use on my Virgin Webplayer? I'm sure its impossible to strip it down to just the basics and load it on the DOC, correct?

I've heard of others here running XP on Webplayer with few issues (incompatible sound card drivers, etc. with XP). But no one has really described the process.

Thanks.

Your friend,
Larry

I installed XP on my webplayer, but then I went back to 98SE. There is no driver for sound or modem. I think XP stays pretty big no matter what you do to it, it should work fine if you have a hard drive, but definately not on the DOC. I think windows ME is the final upgrade for these things....

I don't think it's possible to put ME on the DOC either, you would have to install it onto a hard drive...
