Hi all,
I've just gotten my Webplayer up and running with W98SE connecting with a NetGear EA101 and running on an old 3GB IBM drive, but I'm running into a problem. After about 30 minutes the entire system locks up. I thought it may be heat related, but this occurs with the cover off. Has anyone seen this problem and have a solution?

Thanks,
Ben

If you are using the net at the time it hangs, it could be the usb problem everyone is having. I have given up on usb net adaptors at this point. You can get a mini-pci net adaptor for about $20 on ebay and do a search on this board for how to connect it. Machines I have set up with this adaptor work without hanging. The driver you would need with this card is probably intel's pro/100 generic driver.
Also: if it is Not the net, I have noticed a problem with it hanging with anything on the ide bus unless the graphics performance is set to "basic accelleration".
