Which USB Nic did you use? I got a Xircom 10base USB nic that works great.

Also, since you soldered the NIC internally, do you lose a USB port? Do you theoretically have 3 USB ports now?

I used the same nic, just stripped it from it's case. Theoreticaly, USB allows.. ummm if I remember right.... 127 devices to be connected. That may be off a little, but pretty close. Ofcourse you cannot run power to all of them, so powered hubs are the key. But the USB devices can address that many. So to answer your question, I still have 2 ports, and can add as many devices as I want using the ports, or hubs.

Cool. I was just wondering since you soldered the USB nic if the webplayer would single that port out but based on USB and the 127 connections then that would make sense. (doh!).

Nice job by the way.

Also, where did you get that GeForce4 cooler? I can't find it anywhere!

Off my Ti4600 ofcourse ;)

I got the card and the first thing I did was take it off and install a Crystal Orb and ram sinks. So it was just laying around.

The M$ Intellimouse Opticle is plugged into the USB port that I soldered to BTW

I only plan on running it at 233mhz anyway so I think the standard heatsink should be fine. I'll just put some arctic silver on it to help out a bit.

Even if you OC to only 233 you need provide some extra air intake/exhaust for the case. The original heatsink will not be enough to keep it stable. At 200 some of these things will lockup when running just winamp unless auxillary cooling is added.

What's the clearance of a heatsink/fan combo that would fit? 10mm? 12mm? I like the GeForce4 cooler by ThermalTake but can't seem to find anyone selling it.
