| OK, let me explain...First I attached the hard drive to 1 webplayer, and it didn't work. I don't remember what the problem was, it has been about a month. I put the hard drive into another webplayer, and it worked fine. So I turned it off and brought it back over to the couch to go online. When I turned it on again, it would not detect the hard drive, but I hadn't changed anything. So, just to be sure, I brought it up to my desktop, and put a new ghost image of a hard drive that I know works on the webplayer. The hard drive worked fine, and the image copied fine. I put it back onto the webplayer and turned it on. The hard drive started making a noise like you would hear in an old dos game. A loud whewwww whewwww whewwww, sounded like I won on a slot machine. I quickly unpluged the webplayer, and then pluged it back in. Now the hard drive doesnt even spin up. What could be wrong? What did I do? Thanks.... | |
