I purchased the folloing, and my web player won't even boot with it installed:
http://www.oempcworld.com/item.jhtml?UCIDs=66527%7C1037393&PRID=1021230
256M-SO10016c/2
256MB 144pin SDRAM SODIMM 32Mx64 non ECC, gold, 3.3V, PC100 spec, 100 Mhz, CAS 2 latency, 16C, 2.0" high profile, low density, uses 16x8 DRAM
This thing is double-length, so won't fit in most laptops. Is this standard because of the 16 chips needed ?
I'm getting confused, but is this the problem where you need 8x16 chips, not 16x8s ?
(I veried the module is good in another laptop). | |
