no 98 sound boot off hard drive

Hi all-

I have 98 install on a Toshiba 4.3 gb hard drive. I don't get any sound and just clicking out of the speakers, all volume proerties are normal, but I get an unknown PCI bridge deteected that drivers cannot be found for. Any clues?

You need the PCI bridge drivers, you also need to make sure the line in is muted. Search the board...there is a link for those drivers around here somewhere.
