Power Supply ??? (modified 0 times) holycow Profile Help! I have looked try to find a power supply for my Web Player, no luck. Here's a question for the electrical engineers out there. 1. Do I want a switching power supply? 2. Do I want a regulated power supply? 3. What is the measurement of the plug? 2.5mm inner/5.5mm outer diameter? Anyone have a line on power supplies? I know the stock unit is 5VDC/5AMP. If it comes to it, I can hardwire the power supply to the webplayer. Thanks! Holycow 08-21-2002 19:24:01

(modified 0 times) jpe_dty Profile I bought three of these: http://store.yahoo.com/absolutelyspecial/acad125v5a.html All three are about 5.18V at 5A while in use, and are only $18 a piece. They have the correct connectors and polarity, so you can just swap them for the webplayer power supply. Of course, I could have just been lucky and received three good ones... 08-21-2002 19:30:21

(modified 0 times) jpe_dty Profile I should add that the above power supplies did not come with power cables, so if you don't have a power supply and you order one of these you will have to get one of those standard pc power supply cables to plug it into the wall. 08-22-2002 13:15:10
