My only question is, do I need to get a HD cable like the I-Opener uses, or a regular 2.5" HD cable?

A follow up.

I placed my orders on Saturday night, and they both arrived today using two day air. Postage was not that high.

I actually placed my order Monday night and it arrived today via UPS Ground. It shipped out of Brooklyn to me in Manhattan. I am very happy with these guys

Me too - I just ordered bare cables & connectors (plus a PCMCIA ethernet card for my nephew) - arrived lickity split NY to Portland, OR.

TIP - I was having problems clamping the connectors to the cable with pliers without breaking the connector. Finally used my bench vise - works like a charm - clamps down the whole set of pins evenly so there is no strain on just one part of the connector.
