| I thought tritron's msg might be a bit unclear. The restraining ring on top of the ball unscrews counterclockwise. Be GENTLE! Once that's off, the ball lifts out. There are no loose parts inside, so it's safe to turn it upside down if need be. The wheels on which the ball rests are prone to getting gunked up ... a little alcohol on a Q-tip swab tends to dissolve the accumulated hand oil and dust. An X-acto knife can scrape it if the buildup is very thick. Remember to clean the wheels all the way around, not just on top! If this doesn't solve it, I'd guess a shorted, loose or broken wire to that wheel. | |
