Thinking of getting a Belkin USB ethernet adapter... (modified 0 times) djs101 Profile I can get a Belkin USB ethernet adapter for about $20. My Virgin webplayer currently has no network support. I've searched the archives, and I don't think anyone really has gotten this to completely successfully work with the webplayer. I don't really care about transferring large files, just as long as i can surf the web and transfer mp3's and images. so will Win98 SE detect this sucker, and work fine for me? thanks!! :) 09-10-2002 21:19:42

(modified 0 times) crashdcrx Profile had one for the weplayer Hate it as all hell works great with my laptop but as far as the webplayer may i suggest that you get a linksys compact usb 10/100 ethernet adapter. This thing is great i have not yet been disconnected. nomore pulling out the adapter and putting it back in to just so i can try for the 100th time to download that file i was at 88 percent done!!! no mods made to my webplayer other than a hd and win98SE and Linux on the DOC i am content for now. i am just so happy i have yet to reset my linksys usb nic. 10-05-2002 07:25:25
