I am yet to purchase a Webplayer so I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas of the boot up speeds. Is there a difference in speed if your booting from the DOC or the hard-drive? I plan on making this an MP3 player for my car so I don't want to wait 2 minutes before I can listen to music. Also, with using it in the car, I've noticed some posts on it but I haven't been able to decipher whether it is a difficult process. Obviously if you use an DC-AC inverter then the AC-DC inverter it would probably work no problem but is it really hard to just use the cars DC source straight to the Webplayers power supply? Anyway, if you haven't noticed I'm obviously a noob to all of this but any help you guys could give me would be really appreciated. Thanks
Twice as long? It doesnt take that long for me, actually I think the one with the doc is a bit faster both booting and shutting down, although that could also be because it has less software. Either way...they both take forever to load...its getting pretty old now...
