I'd like to use a USB mouse on the webplayer, however the only USB ones I have right now are the MS Intellimouse w/intellieye 1.0. (The orignal white one) The light underneath doesn't even power on. Tried USB Legacy settings in BIOS--nothing. Strange thing is that the device is "detected" by WinME. Are there other mice working? Does the light just suck too much power on this one?
Got two Belkin Miniscroller USB mice. Black. Small. Work just fine on my 2 WPs! And they match.
BIOS USB Legacy Suport disabled. Didn't see a difference either way so I left it alone.
Power / Standby / Screen backlight all still function normally. Mouse wakes it up which sucks but oh well.
WinME detected and installed whatever is necessary. Didn't touch the belkin driver disk.
Also note: Linksys USB100M works right alongside it. Now I can use that 3rd WP with the bum internal NIC :)
