I have a Intel minipci Ethernet/modem card in my Webplayer that supports network booting, but I having problems getting the Webplayer to attempt to boot via the net. I appear to be able to change the boot order in BIOS boot screen, but it doesn't seem to be saved. If I have a hard disk attached it always boots from the hard disk, if I remove the hard disk it boots from the DOC, if I remove the DOC then I can network boot. The problem is that I'm trying to load a new OS (FreeBSD) onto the DOC so I need to boot via the network *with* the DOC plugged so I can install FreeBSD on the DOC. Anyone have any clues?

I don't know how to avoid booting into DOC when it is installed, but you can at least avoid booting into harddisk when it is still installed by setting the 'drive type' to 'none' instead of 'auto'.

Ctrl+Alt+B frantically as soon as the memory check is finishing.

Hmm...well here is how my boot looks

If I have the HD enabled in the bios it boots to the hd first (c) then d: is the DOC and a: is my cdrom drive.

If I have the HD disabled in the bios, it boots to the doc (c) has the compressed host (d), HD (e) and cdrom (a).

It will not boot off of the cd rom though.
