Hi - I was just wondering if it would be OK for me to edit the i-hacked win98 lite .img file to add a couple files to it. Specifically, I'd like to add some drivers to the file. since the doc is 48MB, and the .img file is only about 38 MB, this seems like it would be safe. But is it? Thanks!

Sure go ahead. We've all installed it and fiddled around with it.
Mine has
  • IE 4.0
  • Real VNC
  • Winamp 2
  • BRS Webweaver

I use mine as a web server. I also use it to stream mp3s from my main pc located in another room.
Works great. I also set the screen to shut off after one minute so that the webserver stays on all day but the screen stays off.

    Forgot a few things:
    Also running:
  • EmpTemp- to clear out the temp files and cookies.
  • RegCleaner - to clean up the leftover registry scraps.
