LARGE MP3 PLAYER (modified 0 times) Mikeeee Hey All, I am looking for some help in locating an MP3 player for my I-Op. I currently have winamp, which works great. But since I am using the touchscreen, it is really hard to click on the miniscule buttons on the screen. Does any one know of any MP3 players that actually have large buttons to control the music. RE:LARGE MP3 PLAYER (modified 0 times) -pyr- skins do nothing to change the size of the buttons. you might be able to make them look larger but since a skin is only a covering over what is underneath, the button size is not changed. a plugin would be about the only thing to use. 05-26-2000 22:59:32

I've seen full screen GQmpeg skins with huge buttons. GQmpeg is available for a Linux, but it might be available for windows too. Check it out. - 05-27-2000 00:02:38

RE:LARGE MP3 PLAYER (modified 0 times) mouser I'm using the large mouse pointer with long trails to find it quickly when driving, but as it tracks over winamp, it reverts to windows standard? any ideas? a large curor with trails is easy to see, but why does winamp revert it? 05-27-2000 14:49:24

RE:LARGE MP3 PLAYER (modified 0 times) MeMyselfI mouser, WinAmp uses its own set of cursors. If you look under %WinAmp%/Skins/NameOfSkin/ there should be a bunch of ".cur" files... those are the cursors... if there isn't then it the cursors default to the WinAmp basic ones... To make the Cursors bigger you coud just copy a big cursor file you want into to the Skin directory of your choosing... "Normal.cur" is the normal one... but there are so many differnet ones that it would take time to replace all of them... Maybe there is a skin with big ones aready.. If not, maybe I'll make a bunch of cursors for the IO... but i don't have the time now... If you wanna do it, you can use any Cursor Creator (Visual Basic comes with a nice one)... or Windows comes with a fine set of large cursors that you could use... I think the max Cursor size is either 32x32 or 48x48... someone correct me if i'm wrong... if i make them I'll post a link (I prolly will, because I'm bored like that) 05-28-2000 00:01:34

RE:LARGE MP3 PLAYER (modified 0 times) mpatel you can get an mp3 player called kjofol (search for it, it is easy to find. You can make skins for it and design the size of the buttons yourself. RE:LARGE MP3 PLAYER (modified 0 times) NiKwill Profile I have the perfect thing for you. I have Winamp on TV running on my car IO. Its a program/plugin for Winamp that basically gives you a full screen interface. Its made to be used for televisions so the buttons are big and the text is nice and clear. Its totally skinnable so you can customize it to your needs. (thank God because the default skin is pretty lame) All around great program though.
