Sunon Super Thin CPU Cooler
Replacement for Lasagna Cooler

I've located an online source for the Sunon CPU Coolers.

These are the same coolers that Prefect reported as a verified
replacement for the Lasagna Cooler from Tennmax. Info is available
at:

http://www.alliedelec.com/catalog/pf.asp?FN=126.pdf

The Allied number 997-1045 is the same as the one Prefect mentioned.

Allied does have them in stock. I ordered a number yesterday. They
don'thave mounting clips or a connector, but at less than half the
price of a Lasagna, I can live with that.

Hmm.. I will have to look into these. I was interested in getting one when the original post mentioned them, but was unable to find any suppliers. I did not try allied however, but jameco, and a bunch of other places did not have them. right now Im using a video chipset cooler from a TNT2U which seems to be working great. indeed I have my IO with a line out mod running BeOS plugged into my stereo playing at this very moment, and its been playing for the last 6 hours or so, running at about 60-70% cpu utilisation with no problems. Of course BeOS doesnt get as flaky as win98 does so that probably helps

I found that GadgetPros also has the "Sunon Super-Thin Coolers".

They are fairly cheap ($13.28) and they have the laptop IDE adapters & PS/2 splitters too. Easier to order it all from one place...

wow... talk about reviving a dead thread. Since the original poster posted this a loooooong time ago I expect that a newer version of Jailbait has fixed this. I am using Ver6 and have no problems with it.
