The screen on the WebPlayer is horrible; anybody tried using the LCD on the i-opener. I have an extra i-opener and thought it might be interesting to see what I could do. Thanks for your help.
It is theoretically possible. And that is about it. It would be extremely difficult to use the iopener LCD screen as a display for a separate computer. there was a lot of speculation on this, but it pretty much came down to needing a digital controller card which run something like 150$ and that is assuming it would still work. I know thats not what you want to hear, but it wont happen without a LOT of work.
