| ckbone, you've made your point over and over (and over and over) regarding the superiority of Jack Rowland's (Badflash) BIOS swap. Please don't feel compelled to chime in EVERY TIME somebody asks for directions about how to do it themselves. Jack himself gave me terrific personal instruction via email regarding one of the finer points of doing just this, and I learned a lot -- dare I say it -- doing it myself. I found Jack to be one of those people who moves ahead by helping others to do the same. Clearly, Jack isn't afraid to help others learn. As a result, I ended up buying chips from him on a second and third unit, simply for the convenience. Regardless, I wouldn't have traded my first and successful foray into the fray for anything. (Replacing the boot image was especially fun as well -- my first try failed as the image was too big, but I learned how to do it correctly ultimately.) Anyway, your comment about writing your own video driver sounds sarcastic, although I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. You're a tremendous contributor here (and I benefitted specifically from your comments regarding locating the "missing" sound driver on units running Win98 SE), but please remember that making your point one time, or perhaps twice, or even three times, is enough. We know you're a Badflash proponent, as am I. Now let those who want to learn something about BIOS flashing go about their business without criticism. Thanks,
