As for the i-Paq I would never pay $599.00 or even $299.00 for one...Especially after being spoiled and buying a total of "8" i-openers for $99.00 ea. I gotta say though the i-Paq machine is kool looking in person....The Windows CE suxs. Has 4 usb and a flash memory slot, To bad it didn't have a pcmcia slot. 09-25-2000 00:54:26

Can I run another ISP on it (Don't want MSN) ? Can I use a USB Ethernet adaptor on it ? I read that someone installed windows 98SE on it. Is that really possible ? I really need it to access the internet through my existing LAN setup, which just requires the browser to be setup for LAN access. Is this possible ? Thank anyone for your help.. Again, supposedly you can, but they didn't list which adapters were compatible. I read that someone installed windows 98SE on it. Is that really possible ? I don't really know, but it might be. It all depends on how and when the CF slot is accessed. I really need it to access the internet through my existing LAN setup, which just requires the browser to be setup for LAN access.
