PURCHASING MODIFIED IOPENERS

I work with a company that needs a small footprint computer like the I-opener that makes it intuitive for customers to get online. The requirements are:

Software
1) Windows 2000 or 98 (preferably 2000)
2) Drivers for popular laser printers
3) Internet explorer 5.0
4) Netzero Software

Hardware
1) Modem connection
2) Ethernet connection if done professionally
3) USB Mouse

I'm hoping that you could provide these i-openers to me fully configured. I will work with Microsoft to get the appropriate license/s. Or if you can configure the system then remove the drive before shipment and allow me to supply the HD instead. And of course I will pay for the labor. An i-opener now is $350 w/tax etc. If you can keep the costs under 300 for the rest of the materials, ie, USB mouse, HD, ethernet card, etc. then we can afford to pay for your labor (negotiable). That would peg the total at 750-800 (not sure if i took into account everything).

Initially, we will need 5 systems. Although I assume that in the future if our clients are interested in our services, they will want to purchase the iopener instead of going through the hassle of purchasing a computer themselves (We are an asp that services the restaurant industry and we work with alot of technophobics).

If this is something you are interested in, please e-mail me at tglieu@hotmail.com or call me at (949)654-8454.

Thanks for your time,
Tuan.

You will need to score your own I-O's, but doing the rest within the budget you suggest is no problem. You will need to either use a USB network, or use a USB to eithernet adapter that is external. Suggest you use a splitter and a regular mouse vs. usb mouse if you are going to use the USB for networking.

Contact me off line if you can come up with the I-O's. I can get the rest of the parts. We can firm up a price then.
