A friend and I want to make mp3 players for our cars, and I've been reading all about the IO stuffs. Sounds like it'd work great for our purposes.. We also plan to mount a touch screen over the top of the lcd..

So I've got all my research on what parts I need, and have everything sourced.. EXCEPT for the IOs.. I see they're going for about $160-$190ish on eBay, but is that the best way to get one? Do people on here still have em stockpiled that they'd want to sell for cheaper than that? I just need 2.. Preferably ones that can be modded to take a k6 cpu (I wanna do the surface mount hack to run it at a full 450. :)...

I've got misc hardware to trade too.. Anyone with any input (offers, places to look, etc) please let me know..

Thanks in advance,
superlime

Oh.. And I can be reached easiest on IRC (efnet, newnet or dalnet) as the nick superlime. :)

Yeah, do me a favor and save me from this addictive hobby I've made it to. I had 13 iopeners and managed to give and sell it away to just another 4 iopeners.

i have 1 unopened from it's box v3 (perfect for the amd mod) ($175)

i have 1 modified v2 or some had though it was a v3. Its Bios is flashed, it has jailbait 6 on the sandisk, and all you have to do is add a harddrive to it. ($165) It doesn't look scratched, and i'll even swatch a brand new keyboard from my other new iopener(amd modded) for you.

i'll include harddrive cables for $8 each, that is a steal cause i paid $12 for each not including shipping and tax.

I also have amd 333 mhz cpu chips for sale at cost which is $33. this is the best amd chip speed to run the iopener at in short of having to keep the back cover off, installing cooling solutions..etc etc.

just email me at studmufn@hotmail.com

thanks.
