I cracked it open and saw a 266 rise and a yamaha sound card.

My questions are.

1. Where can i find directions on how to hack it and set it up with a MOD-3 kit?

2. Is it possible to do audio out on these things?

Yes they are hackable - see the posts in this BBS.

Audio out is also possible - check with mp3boombox - he has a post in the technical forum

I dont know how dude got his but sometimes if one asks a sales dude he knows at CC they have open box specials or broken units they will let go cheap. Been there, done that
