Greets all:
FYI, www.laipac.com has their TF10 GPS module available in single sample quantities for $79. A nice single board GPS easily incorporated into the iO. For a stand alone GPS project using this unit see the Jan 2001 issue of Circuit Cellar. (article likely available on the net at www.circuitcellar.com)

Maybe I missed something? but it looks like you still need to come up with a active or passive antenna?

I like the 900MHZ transceiver scrolling further down thier page.

Thanks for the info r_fl_z

O2U2:

Correct, some antenna will be required...also available on their site. Some of the nice things about this unit is that it's board level, allowing easy incorporation into the iO. It's a feature packed unit, compared to the generic $100 GPS bundle, though you will have to locate your moving map software seperately...easily done for free on USENET. It also is available with many connectivity options at no additional charge, allowing you to optimize your installation. :)
