Hey guys ...for $10 more on pricewatch ($119 + $9 shipping), I found a 8gig laptop harddrive, instead of a 6gig. But it's 19mm and Eide 2.5.
Will this work..inside the case of course?
Thanks,

NO.....12.5mm is as thick as you can go without forcing the case together. Even the 17mm drives require some force to reassemble the case, which puts pressure on the drive, bends the motherboard, and can even crack the screen. If you must use those thick drives, mount them externally. You can find 12.5mm drives for the price range you quoted.

Looks like the optimum price point for the PriceWatch.com drives is at 10Gig. Only $117 + $10 shipping at GoGoCity. Have 3 (Toshiba MK1016GAP) inbound. FYI, I've experienced shipping price gougeing at House of Computers.

You should be able to find IDE laptop drives in the 4GB to 8GB range for about $11 per Gig plus $15 shipping on eBay if you are willing to do a little research and stick to your guns.
