Is new bios required?

Does anyone know if in the V4, it is required to flash/replace the bios when using the Imod-3 kit?

no matter what i-mod kit u use, the bios must be flashed on v3 through v5. please excuse the format of text, i'm typing this on my palm pilot!

my palm isn't bad, i have it using a serial wirless network interface through my cable modem network,

just curious, would u like to trade for an i-opener i have somehardware,
a diamond viper video card v770,
a cybiko w/ 1 meg memory
a 810meg hdd 2.5 inch
a 4x laptop cdrom
