Intel Network Servers to handle multiple I-Openers?
Question if anyone has used these...

Hi,
Intel makes an "Inbusiness Storage Station" in a 30GB size. It allows ethernet sharing apparently using some sort of Unix system 32MB and a 266Mhz Pentium (sorta of deja vuish with respect to I-Openers).

Anyway, 30GB systems are not priced competitively, however a nice network storage server as a black box has an appeal. I recall seeing hard drives being added to TIVO's and the like mentioned elsewhare. As the cost of 2.5GB storage is a bit steep, and as much of what I'd want (email, mp3 files even office programs) could all share the same folders/storage space happily across several I-Openers... I was wondering if anyone has ever hacked one of these devices? As it supports dual drives, it'd be sorta sweet to add inexpensive 45-60GB drives and get a 90-120GB solution for network storage in a low priced box.

If you've done this with another device, I'd be interested in hearing about it also... I'm interested in a large common storage deposit while lowering my cost of hard drives on I-Openers.

Thanks!
