I have not gotten my i-opener (I have three on the way), what is the clearence for the heatsink on the CPU? I was looking at experimenting with a Golden Orb- Blue Orb video chipset cooling fan.

The Lasagna CPU cooler is 10mm high and just fits. So something 15mm high would require cutting large holes in the RF shield and plastic back cover. The CPU does not really get that hot (even using a K6-3+ at 500+MHz) to require such a large fan. Your best choices are the Lasagna or Sunon fans both of which fit inside the case. Still a good idea to make a 1.5" hole for air intake and reduced noise.

Also looks like the Blue orb runs on 12VDC...Might work on 5VDC but much slower spinsky's.
The Lasagna and Sunon run on 5VDC.
