I think that he means that he is using the original I/O M/K on the keyboard part of the splitter and a normal mouse on the mouse part of the splitter. If the keyboard is working, then he most certainly has it set up correctly.
With the splitter that I have, you cant use both the IO m/keyboard and another mouse on the splitter. Since I did not want to open up the keyboard and disable to the mouse, I just use a non I/O keyboard. If you really dont EVER want to use the I/O mouse, then open up the keyboard and disable it. Otherwise, put in some kind of switch to turn it on/off. | |
