I broke my V1 motherboard but have a V4 board can I just plug it in or will I need to reset anything

V4 used a Hitachi DSTN panel for the first time. It's possible that there were slight changes to the drive electronics. The best way to find out is to try it out.

I could use a V1 board for tracing out signals. What are your plans for the broken board? I'm interested in getting it if possible.
