Sunon fan went south

Has anybody else had a Sunon fan fail? I have had this installed in the I-Opener for maybe three months and it worked fine, the
machine has been up steadily for a couple of weeks or so. I powered it down to install some additional stuff and turned it back on
and the fan won't spin. It just flutters a little when power is applied with the correct polarity. This sucks!

Your Sunon fan failed.....my Lasagna fan failed.....a tree fell on mp3boombox's car. S*** Happens. Bad luck? Bad Karma? Remember what Julius Ceasar said: "The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in our stars, but in ourselves".

These are small high-speed mechanical devices, subject to stress, heat, vibration, all of which contribute to a short life. We're lucky they're as reliable as they are. When my Lasagna failed, an E-Mail to them had a replacement sent to me in about a week...no questions asked.

Just one? The first fan I bought died a while ago. Before it died, I bought three more because the price dripped to $5. One of those three was DOA, one died shortly after I put it in the iopener (after the original died). Out of four, I only have one working fan.
