Need a Hard Drive

Anyone have a extra Hard Drive that they
want to sell? Or know of the best place to
get one. I'm sick of Ebay and getting outbid at the last minute or being force to pay too much. I don't need a large drive, but preferably 1GB or better. Can use Pay Pal.
You can email me at tmcdermott @ iso . com.
Thanks

You should glance over at Computer Geeks. They have some nice laptop-sized hard drives at pretty stinkin' reasonable prices. I think I saw a 1 gigger for about 29 bucks recently.

Keep trying E-bay. I was high bidder on an IBM 2.16 gig (9.5mm height- for use in an I-Mod 3) on this past Sun. nite (2/12) at $41 plus $8 shipping. I placed my bid with about 2 min left.

If your looking for new larger drive take a look at http://www.gogocity.com .
I got a 10 GB toshiba from them for about $120 shipped. It has been working great for a week now in my WSP.

Here how to win an item on eBay. Pick what you want and make sure that you can be online when the auction ends. Do NOT place an early bid, this will only drive up the price. Be signed in and watch for 10 minutes or so before the auction ends. At one minute to go, Place a bid 3 or 4 dollars higher that the current bid is shown, if the current price plus $4 is is within the price that you want to play. Also, remember that shipping can add 5 to 10 dollars to the overall price. You won't win all auctions this way, but it has proven effective for me. }
