I found a dude here in the Seattle/Everett area that has a small quantity of NEW AMD K6-II+ 500MHZ and K-6-III+450MHZ and 475's. He only has about a dozen or so combined. He's selling them for $70 bucks each but I'm gonna get 2 anyway.
If any one is interested I will post the info who has them here TOMMORROW (2/26) AFTER I pickup my 1 each 450mhz and 500mhz CPU's first!
I'm sure once the word gets out they will only last a day or so...

OK, I bought the K6-II+ 500MHZ(ACZ) and K6-III+ 450MHZ(ACZ). Paid $70 ea private sale Yeah a little spendy but I'm a happy camper
Evidently he only has 3 left as follows, (1) K6-III+ 450, (1) K6-II+ 475 and (1) K6-II+ 500
These are the PLUS+ Cpu's for mobile use.
I am not selling these for him period. So please don't consider this a FOR SALE AD.
I'm just providing this info for those that live in the SEATTLE AREA that may be interested in going there themselves and getting these CPU's locally due to such short supply. They are VERY hard to get here.
OK enough of that,
Vetco Electronics surplus in Bellevue. Ask for Ken. It's on Northrup way in the Fred Meyer shopping complex. Across the street from where the future shop used to be. I'm not going to post the Phone# but it is listed in directory assistance. If you want one go there ASAP because I don't think they will last...

Ahhh man, and I just moved *from* Seattle. It's so strange to know exactly where you're talking about and not be able to do a darned thing about it. Actually, I was thinking of visiting Vetco next time I'm in town on business and see if they had any pluses--guess that idea can be thrown out now

The breaking news post appears to be for the K6-2+ 450mhz(128k cache) for $49.95 plus $6 shipping. Total $55.95 plus waiting....
What I bought is a K6-2+ 500mhz(128K cache) <$14 bucks more> and K6-3+ 450mhz(256k cache)<$14 bucks more>for $70ea, no tax no shipping and has a 30 day LOCAL (I'll admit 11 miles away) warranty. The $14 extra bucks for the 500mhz cpu and K6-III+ 450 256k cache instead of 128k cache is worth it for me. Plus Instant gratification! 500mhz is a nice sweet number without overclocking.
