I have a V5 iopener, rise 266 CPU and yamaha soundchip... I'm running into the problem of installing the drivers for the Yamaha and boom- BSoD... Of course, the moment you take the drivers off the system, i have a healthy system...

Is there a workaround other than replacing the CPU? Please LMK, I need help! =(

If you actually have a V5, you don't have a Yamaha sound chip. No wonder it crashes. The correct sound drivers are available off the VIA website. Yamaha drivers cause a V4 to crash if you use the RISE cpu. You must use the default windows drivers with a V4 and the RISE.
