| Belkin makes a PC to PC network gadget using USB. It's two USB cables, some drivers and a small cookie sized box that the cables connect to in the middle. I have it as my PC to IO setup. I share my PC's CDROM to load software into the IO!
Opinion: It's slow, paralel port slow. It, the USB network, often crashes during big file transfers. When one side of the network has problems both sides must reboot in order to use the network at all. OTOH, it's cheap, easy to use and works well with the IO.
YMMV
