You might want to consider having someone reprogram the SanDisk in the I-opener with Jailbait.
Jailbait is a small Linux distribution that provides a windowing environment with the Netscape
browser and several Email clients for reading/sending Email.
With Jailbait, there wouldn't need to be any hardware modifications to the I-opener. Using Linux,
you don't have to worry about software licensing issues either.
You will need a new ISP so you can connect to the Internet. Dimensional.com is one, Front Range
Internet is another (http://www.frii.com). Costs run $10-$20 per month.
For Linux help, the Boulder Linux Users Group (http://www.lug.boulder.co.us) is a good place to look.
Hope this helps
