If I am reading you correct, 1 Error is the "the primary master is set to none"
This should be Auto in most cases, but could be Manually entered
(or Auto Detected ?) the same as listed for the Sandisk/Sundisk.
The Boot Drive should be Jumpered as Master.
(My Comment above about Boot Order in BIOS to "D,A,SCSI" is BS, I think !
I think this is how you would boot a DOS/LINUX Sandisk, with HD attached ?)
Well, IBM Hard Drives have been a Point of Concern.
as Well, as 40 gig, could be, with the Age of this BIOS. I forget where the Boundry is ???
Or, Power Demand on the I-Opener during SpinUp ?
You could Try a 3 1/2" Drive !!! ( @ Your Own RISK ! )
NEVER PUT POWER TO AnyThing ATTACHED to an I-Opener,
(except the I-Opener Power Supply as Normal !!! ) ( everyone has be warned ! )
Common GROUNDS are Allowed, If You Understand what that Means !
Yamaha Sound Chip: Look Here, Left, Center,
http://www.linux-hacker.net/imod/images/inside.jpg
In the V5, the Sound chip is Lower Left, above the PS/2 port.
(the 1/4 size White Square would be a Chip)
& You Can NOT USE this Procedure !
