Will a Linksys USB Wireless adapter work with Jailbait Linux?

A search here using "Linksys USB Wireless" and "WUSB11" resulted in no hits, so I figured I'd pose the question. I suspect that the i-Opener is able to use the Linksys WUSB11 USB Wireless adapter if Windows 9x is installed, but what about with Linux? Specifically, what about Jailbait linux? The notion of using an i-Opener loaded with Jailbait Linux with wireless connection seems like a killer proposal for me.

Any thoughts?

looks like it may be too new to have a driver specifically for it.. should you get one, pop it open and see what chip(s) it has in it, and it may just need an update to one of the existing drivers..

Not sure about Jailbait, but I've got the wlan-ng usb driver working on Midori linux. See http://m4i.homeip.net/

Note that there are two versions of the Linksys WUSB11- the original and 'version 2.5'. Version 2.5 has a folding antenna, the orginal has no external antenna. Version 2.5, which has a prism chipset, is supported under linux with the wlan-ng prism driver. The original has an Atmel chip that is NOT supported under linux.

I'm using the WUSB-11 v2.5 on my Iopener under linux to post this right now- it works great!
