I'm a newbie so I would really appreciate you helping me.
I downloaded Jailbait image and tried to install it with " dd if=version6_fullinstall.img of=/dev/hdb ". All it does is that it creates 6 partitions to my /dev/hdb (this isn't right, is it?). When I try to boot from /dev/hdb the booting stops when "LI" (from LILO) comes up to the screen.

Should work fine. I presume you were booting off of a hard drive connected via the IDE header?How many licks does it take to get to the center of a two-by-four? The world may never know.

I had the same problem. I was using a IBM travelstar 4.3 gig drive. I ran IBM's disk manager program and it worked fine after that. Make sure you have the correct cyl/sec/head settings. I had better luck whe I did it manually.
