Is Screen Dimming Normal (modified 0 times) typhoon Profile | Email Hey guys, got my V5 up and running 98 SE. Has IMOD-3, 266 Rise, 128 Megs RAm , Dlink USB NIC, and a 6 Gig IBM Travelstar HD. Whenever the HD accesses anything the screen gets dimmer. Is this normal? I searched the forums and found a lot of power supply tweaks, but is this necessary? If the dimming is normal, I'l stop worrying. Ahh, so glad to finally have this thing up and running..at the end of all my troubles, the prob was the mouse/kbd splitter from the IMOD-3 kit was REVERSED. kbd goes to mouse, mouse to kbd and ALL is well.. heh that only took me 3 keyboards to find out <grin> Thanks, Josh 05-08-2001 09:58:23
