anyone need IOpener/GCT screws? (modified 0 times) Steve Profile | Email Does anyone need replacement or extra metric screws for the standoffs, RF shield, or back of the IOpener/GCT? My local hardware store ran out and I'm thinking of buying a box of each. It should be enough for anybody else who wants some. 8mm screws - back of the IOpener/GCT. get rid of those damn Torx security screws on the IO. 6mm screws - IOpener case, rf shield, standoffs 5mm screws - GCT case, rf shield, standoffs I'll set it up so that you just mail a dollar and a return address (preferably already on a label) and I can mail back some screws. I'll have to figure out how many I can mail in an envelope without it getting too heavy and a good way to protect them from the USPS. 06-10-2001 08:04:49

As far as mailing, I would take a toilet paper roll and cut it in three pieces. Take a section, tape one end, put the screws in, then tape the other end. Should be light enough to send with a 34 cent stamp, assuming you're only sending 10 screws or so. Otherwise use two stamps. The envelope shouldn't rip open, but you may have to write "PLEASE HAND STAMP" on the envelope. 06-11-2001 08:24:16
