HDD size requirement for I-MOD3

Hi,

Does anyone know how much clearance are left bwteen the RF shield and the 9.5mm HDD in the I-MOD3 setup? I am thinking about ordering the IMOD3, but I certainly don't want the HDD to be right up against the RF shielf.

Also, does anyone know the next expected shipping date for the IMOD3. It seems to be out of stock now.

The 9.5mm fit Great. 12.5mm Don't Fit. I don't currently have it installed. So I can hold it in my Hand !
I have a Few Hard Drives (Different Thicknesses) & a Few I-Openers, @ Varries levels of Hack.
anything else ? *sf*

Anyone gotten a response from BADFLASH about avaliability. I've tried e-mailing him and Codeman but no reply. They have been on back order for quite a while, I'm beginning to suspect they are no longer being made... guess I may have to go the I-MOD2 damn the I-MOD3 is such a brilliant solution.

Ooh just checked badfalsh.com you can get the I-MOD3 parts now. I'll have to work on my non-existant soldering skills before ordering.

MightyAtom- you musta got my e-mail wrong. I ALWAYS answer e-mails withing 24 hours. Sometimes peoples return addresses don't work- so check that out.

IMOD3 order was placed a while back, but it looks like 4 weeks + before I will see them. If you know how to do decent soldering work, I now have something for you, IMOD3- THE KIT!

Check out my web page and you will see IMOD3 kits which you solder together yourself. I bought out codeman's stock of PC boards and parts and put together a little instruction sheet. So if you can't wait a month + for a built one, buy the lit and make one!
