Folks,
I just got i-op, and it seens to be dead.. When I hit the power button nothing happens, there is not evel light on the button itself. I checked the PS, it works properly... (at least it can power another i-op with no problems)...
What are my options for repairs of the i-op? Also, what can be broken? - A switch, loose/broken wire?
I haven't taken it apart yet...
Thanks,

Press and hold down the power button for a few seconds. Sometimes it takes a while for the IOpener to realize you're turning it on. Also try unplugging it and plugging it back in.

If the power light comes on and you have a black screen.. check to see if the BIOS chip is making good contact. If it looks "dark" but you see the LCD colors, you've got a burned out lamp or fuse.

If all else fails (not even a power light comes on), I'll bet you were sold an IOpener that got fried. It happened a few times with the IMod-3 kits. If this is the case, you can get someone to replace a mosfet chip in the lower right corner of the machine.

Do you know exactly which mosfet needs to be replaced?
