I thought the IDE device was the primary drive. I have a model-V Iopener and I cannot access the BIOS. DO I simply need a new BIOS?

Dude, whats the problem? The first thread was related to a spinup problem with the HDD. It was a power issue. THis thread is related to a Boot problem. These threads are completely unrelated. THanks for your help though.

My Problem is, You act like Your Topics Matter ! That would only be True If You Were Searching.
If You Were Searching, You would find All of These Answers are already Here.
Now, When I SEARCH, Your "I just got My I-Opener" Threads are now added to the results.
But I Do want to Thank You, for Using The General I-Opener Area.

So Realize Your Topic isn't Perfect.
But If You Stay in one Thread, Soon, Anyone Whom might attempt to Assist You,
can See What Version You Have as well as other things you have Done.
Now, I have to Jump thu 6 Threads to get an idea of Your System/skills.

But this is Just my opinion. & You are Free to do as You Wish Good Day, * StarFish *

Oh, & one? More thing. If You are Searching,
Please pick one of the Threads that You feel has a Good Topic & add to the End of it.
(unless it is over 50/100 posts (DailUp/Cable modem))
(But, You could still Reference long Threads You have Read !)
This Helps, by US being able to Assume You have Read the Thread &
WE do Not have to reCover the Information contained in it.
I Bet You will get More Replies to Your Request,
If others See You are trying to Help Yourself!

I feel, the GREAT Threads here, are Where the Hacker, Reports What Has Worked for Him/Her.
Then there are the Great Deals.
Then there are the "Silly" (already Answered) Questions
I Know Search is SLOW & SuX. & Maybe This Area Should Be a "Chat Room" ???
It Seems there is a "New Hacker" that feels Asking a Great question is "The Meaning of Life !"
( I would Suggest, Few Here Agree, or Maybe, even Understand this "Concept" !)

This is in No Way Personal. I Treat All Neophytes like this, or Worse
Oh, & by the way, If You or Anyone has an Opinion ? "Don't Hold Back" on My Account.
I Have Freely said how I Feel.
I would suggest, You Focus your comments on Hacking/or making this a Better Community!
Those needing to get Personal,
You might want to consider Your Comments could Stay Here & be Quoted FoReVeR ???

(Do You get the Feeling, I have been here too Long !) Love these I-Openers.
Well, enough Drinks, Hot wings & "BS" for Me, Good Evening All, * StarFish *

The Only Thing Worse than Newbies that Start New Threads Instead Of Searching For PreExisting (!!) KnowLedgE, are Folks Who Use Loose Instead of Lose, or Others WHO EITHER SHOUT or dont even attempt to use any punctuation regardless of how many sentences they might string together or disparate ideas they might be trying to convey orworseyetdontevenbotherwithspaces Or Like You StarFish Use Some Incredibly Bizarre Technique Like Capitalizing Every Word In A Sentence (!!) and Using ???Quotation Marks "And" ExcLamaTion Points !!! and WHATNOT That Makes Their Posts Almost UnReadable Or At Least AmaZinlgly Difficult To Slog Through and To Try ThereFore To Figure Out What The Heck !!! The Point Is That You Sir Are Trying To Convey!!???!
